The Foam Filled Fender does not deflate and remains operational even when subjected to overdesign berthing loads or physical damage. The construction is internal cellular foam encased within a very tough and wear resistant polyurethane outer skin. This construction allows for very easy on site repair and maintenance. The fender has a low reaction force on initial contact and a large bearing area and is ideal for vessels of light hull construction.

The Foam Filled Fenders are suitable for locations where fixed fendering systems are not appropriate and for ship-to ship operations. These fenders can be supplied with a tyre net for additional protection for the fender itself.  

  

Foam Filled fenders can be suitable for any kind of ships. Elastomer foam fenders are designed and built with a central steel through-pipe with polyurea, polyurethane, polyethylene or plastic foam core which forms the resilient part of the fender. The anti-resistant skin is formed by using high tensile reinforced polyethylene or polyurea elastomer (SPUA). Reinforcement layer are also used to enhance the adhesiveness between every kinds material. We can supply chain-tyre nets as optional.  This combination of materials enables extremely high compressive stresses to be absorbed, coupled with low reaction forces. Fenders are unsinkable. The outer skin can be repaired quickly and economically. The fenders are lightweight with high buoyancy and always maintain the correct level in varying tidal waters. Suitable for dock protection, all ship-shore operations and for ship-to-ship protection at sea.
